To properly calibrate the ground:

First, make sure that the search coil is raised about 30 cm from the ground while operating the device then follow these steps:

On the first screen, choose the type of ground calibration (automatic or manual).
On the second screen that indicates raising the device, raise the device a little and press “OK”.
Get down the device so that it is 5 cm off the ground in the screen, and then press OK.
A screen appears confirming the successful ground calibration process, now click OK and continue the search process.
